About

Overview
The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem solving contest for elementary and middle school students. The contest is for students in grades 2-8.

Objective of this test:
The goal of the competition is to encourage students' interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math.

Structure of the contest

  • During the contest, students are given 50 minutes to solve 20 problems. Many problems are designed to challenge students and to enrich their problem solving experiences.

Awards

  • National Honor Roll Medal: The top 10% of all participants in each grade will receive 'National Honor Roll' medals.
  • ​​Team Winner Medal: The highest scorer of each team will receive a 'Team Winner' medal.
  • Participation Certificates will be issued to all participants.

When:

Contest Window: April 4 - April 17, 2024

Where:

Online. Students can take the contest online at home during the contest window under parent proctoring. An email will be sent with login information a week before the contest.
