For AMC tests, we will share the logistical details and next steps to complete on the MAA website at least one week prior to the exam date.
MOEMS is available only if your school does not participate. A signed form from the school confirming its non-participation is required.
Participation in Math Kangaroo involves a separate $25 registration fee, payable directly through the official Math Kangaroo website. This fee is not part of Random Math packages, and we do not charge any additional hosting fee.
Your Questions Answered!
Whether you're exploring enrollment or already part of our community, find answers to common questions about our programs, curriculum, and what makes Random Math a leader in competitive math education.
1. Can my child take both AMC 10 and AMC 12 in the same semester?
Students may take either AMC 10A or AMC 12A on November 5, 2025, and either AMC 10B or AMC 12B on November 13, 2025, but not both exams on the same day.
For example, a student can take AMC 10A and AMC 12B, but cannot take AMC 10A and AMC 12A together.
2. What happens if I need to change my registration (registration/venue/time)?
A $50 change fee is applied to each registration, venue, or time change.
3. Can I register for multiple packages at once?
No, only one package can be registered in the season.
4. Can non-Random Math students register for contests?
Yes, registration is open to both Random Math and non-Random Math students, if you are eligible to participate as per the official rules.
5. Are contests held online or in-person?
Contests are held online and in-person, please follow the contest schedule for details.
6. Are refunds available if my child cannot attend?
Refunds are not offered once the first test has been taken. Prior to that, cancellations will incur a $100 administrative fee.
All individual tournaments not part of a package are non-refundable.
