The TESLA Class

TESLA is a focused problem-solving and review class designed to help students strengthen their performance in AMC 12 and AIME.

Intended for those with a strong grasp of core concepts, the program supports students working toward higher scores and deeper mastery of contest-level topics, while being time-efficient to help maintain consistency during academically demanding years.

Program Details

LEVELS

Level G: For students targeting USAJMO qualification

Level F: For students aiming for a high AIME index

Note: Level placement for this class will be decided by the RandomMath team.

Level G start date: Saturday, July 20, 2025
Classes run: Saturdays 9:00 - 11:00 am (PST)

Level F start date : Friday, July 19, 2025
Classes run: Fridays 4:30 - 6:30 pm (PST)

ADMISSION CRITERIA

TESLA Classes are open to students in Grades 11-12* who have learned all the key AMC12/ AIME concepts.

Exceptions can be made for students in sophomore year who have qualified for USAJMO*
*Sophomores who were placed in Level G during 9th-10th grade are eligible for TESLA, though participation is not recommended for students in Grade 9.

Please Note: Students who are not part of Random Math would need to go through an assessment. For new students, placement will be based on an required assessment and Past USA(J)MO/AIME Performance.

Program Dates

There are a total of 24 classes and 24 accelerators. We have kept a buffer of 2 class for cancelation due to unavailability of the coach.

Hybrid Classes

Week 1 will focus on running mock tests depending on individual level. Topic focuses will vary among Number Theory, Geometry, Combinatorics, and Algebra.
Classes will will last from 9:00am - 4:30 pm PST and be of the following format: 2 Mock Tests of 2 hours each + 2 hours problem discussion.
Spots for classes will be provided on a first come first serve basis.

Existing RandomMath students who are eligible for TESLA classes do not require an assessment to join.
