Math Kangaroo USA is a national non-profit organization with a mission of helping students love math. For 27 years, Math Kangaroo has organized an annual international mathematical competition for students grades 1-12.
Their problems are creative and almost like puzzles in the logic and problem-solving they require to solve correctly.

The format of the test consists of several competition rounds outlined below. Refer to the official Math Kangaroo website for more information.
Criteria to Qualify
There are no prerequisites to participate in this competition.
Please note, however, this is a competition for students who are at most in the 8th grade.
Format
The Math Kangaroo exam is a 75 minute multiple-choice test for students in grades 1-12. There are 24 questions for students in grades 1-4 and 30 questions for students in grades 5 and higher.

Random Math had 21 students in the top 20, 13 students in the top 8, and 3 students who won 1st place.
