I am currently a junior at UCLA majoring in Computer Science with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I chose this path because I am interested in building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems, and it allows me to combine my passion for mathematics and computer science with creativity to design new models and systems.

I joined Random Math in 2019 after learning about it through a friend and remained a student throughout high school. During my time there, I had the opportunity to grow and excel in competition math under the supportive mentorship of Manish Uncle and Stuti Aunty, who consistently challenged and encouraged me. My competitive math experience includes qualifying for the AIME and participating in university-level tournaments such as SMT, HMMT, and BMT.

Beyond math competitions, I was actively involved in robotics throughout middle and high school. In my junior year, I developed a novel computer vision system for my high school’s robotics team. The intuition and ability to solve problems accurately under pressure, skills I developed at Random Math, helped me design and implement a key algorithm during a competition, enabling our robot to perform flawlessly the following morning.

As a student at Random Math, I engaged with challenging mathematical concepts daily and honed my problem-solving skills, strengthening my mathematical foundation and making it easier to pick up new ideas quickly and understand them at a deeper level. In math-heavy fields like machine learning and artificial intelligence, this foundation has helped me reason more rigorously, understand how different models work, and apply theory effectively in coursework, projects, and internships.
