About

The Exeter Math Club Competition is a middle-school mathematics competition that provides students (Grade 8 or below) with an event where they can join like-minded peers from a mathematical community spanning the globe. Every selected student will be placed into a team of four in accordance with the competition format. Random Math Coaches will decide the team placement which can change at anytime.

Eligibility: Participation is open to students in Level D and above. However, please note that students in Level F2 and G generally may win since the competition is attended by top performers.

The deadline to submit the interest form is November 30. Please note that submitting this form is not confirmation that you will be attending the competition, simply an indication of interest. Students selected to represent Random Math at EMCC will be contacted separately by December 5 so that they can make the necessary travel arrangements.

To ensure full commitment and avoid last-minute disruptions:

  • Selected students must submit a $500 deposit by check.
  • This deposit is forfeited for any no-show, regardless of the reason, due to significant past issues with last-minute withdrawals.
  • The deposit will be returned in Exeter, NH immediately after the tournament ends.
  • Students who participated in EMCC last year are exempt from the deposit.
